Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone arrived for the screening of the French film Tournee(On Tour) presented in competition at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival on Thursday, May 13, 2010 in Cannes. During the press meeting Rohit had said, "Indian women have been criticized for wearing Western outfits at red carpets of premiere events. But this year will be different as Deepika will show the world how beautiful sarees are. She will steal the show wearing a super sexy saree". Undoubtedly Deepika was sizzling, draped in a white gold saree designed by Rohit Bal. This was Deepika's first appearance on the red carpet at the Cannes Film festival and this is the first time a celebrity has walked the Cannes red carpet in the traditional Indian dress.
