Deepika Padukone May Play A Parallel Lead In Saif’s 'Agent Vinod'

Youth Icon Deepika Padukone has been approached for a parallel lead role in Saif Ali Khan's Agent Vinod.

Kareena Kapoor the Bollywood Diva is the female lead in the film. Co-producer Dinesh Vijan is presently in talks with Deepika. If things work out, this would be the first time Bebo and Deepika would co-star in a film.

The two actresses do not share a good chemistry as Bebo had earlier expressed her displeasure when her favourite director Imitiaz Ali picked Deepika over her for Saif's first home production Love Aaj Kal.

However their jodi was liked by the audiences and the film was a hit, so it makes sense for them to be paired again. Bebo-Saif last came together in Kurbaan which failed, so now even Kareena isn't averse to the idea of Deepika joining the cast.

A source reveals, "Even though it's a second lead, the character plays an important role. Saif is extremely professional as a producer and will cast the actor who will do proper justice to the role. And while Kareena and Deepika aren't friends, that will not come in the way of casting."

When contacted, Deepika didn't deny or confirm the development. Dinesh Vijan claims there's no truth to the speculations.

Deepika Padukone Inscribed A New Tattoo

Deepika Padukone has inscribed a new tattoo on her ankle. It is the most painful place to ink a tattoo but Deepika is very happy to go through this painful experience. The idea of having a tattoo on the ankle clicked in Deepika’s mind while she was shooting in London.

This is Deepika’s second tattoo. In the past she had one on her nape which reads ‘RK’ meaning Ranbir Kapoor. The actress inked Ranbir’s name on her nape when their love story was at the peak. But now that they are no more together, Deepika is not ready to get the name off from her nape. Deepika’s first tattoo is quite evident.

When asked, Deepika Padukone was hesitant to divulge the details of her new tattoo. She just confirmed the news that she had one new tattoo inked on her ankle.

What her new tattoo symbolizes is yet to be confirmed but Deepika kept her first tattoo intact which throws a clear indication that Ranbir is still ruling her heart and mind.
