Deepika is now ready to move on from her branding as a newcomer and join the ranks of Bollywood leading ladies, and what could be a better way of doing that than asking for an A-Lister paycheck. Deepika has been offered a lead role in Anurag Basu's upcoming film Silence, which also headlines Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. Deepika is ready to do the role but has asked for a paycheck matching Priyanka's, a substantial hike on her current rate. She also wants her role to be meatier.
